Day One

Good afternoon,
Well, my first official day has gone well. I had a sandwich for lunch (aside from the bread and mayo, not terrible) and a home-made smoothie with spinach, fruit, vanilla yogurt, and almond milk. It’s quite good. I prepped four mason jars worth of smoothies with various flavors and ingredients. One is simply fruit, almond milk, and yogurt. Another is fruit, oats, almond milk, honey, and yogurt. I then have a berry one with oats, yogurt, and almond milk. Lastly, there is one with spinach, banana, oats, peanut butter, cinnamon, almond milk, and yogurt. They look delicious!
The bill for all these groceries wasn’t so pretty. It was near $100 for everything. Things have become so expensive. It will be worth feeling better in the end, even if it hurts the ol’ bank account right now. I haven’t taken my walk just yet for the day. I shall probably get to it within the next hour. Right now, I figured I’d check in and update everyone. I did weigh myself this morning. The result? 220lbs. That means if I stay on track and continue these healthy changes, I will hopefully be able to lose roughly 100lbs. I was in a hurry to leave for the store so I didn’t take any measurements, but I will do that soon.
